Here's a sampling of some of the topics covered: - Effective leadership approaches in transition - Tools and tasks to help prepare congregations for a new pastor - Navigating systems, conflict, and power dynamics - Theological and spiritual elements of times of transition, including opportunities and limits of worship and preaching - Building and leading a culture of exploration, discernment, and discovery Space is limited. PUBLIC THEOLOGY FORUM SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 9AM - 3PM ET
Come learn more about what Public Theology means and what it looks like for those in ministry.Experienced practitioners (pastors, community activists, non-profit leaders, and seminary faculty) will share how they engage forms of public theology in their own community settings. A broad range of topics and issues will be covered, including social, racial, and economic justice, food equity, and theological, ecological, and climate concerns.
Participants select 2 workshop choices in registration, which includes lunch and a panel discussion. Registration is $25 per person.
