Fall Craft Week 2023, September 24–29, 2023.
Grow your skills as an artist or craftsperson! - Come gain proficiency in an art form of your choice, and enjoy the community of other artists during a fall week in the mountains. This is a great opportunity for individuals or groups. Bring a group from your church, community, family, or come alone. We can help you figure out the details!

New woodworking class - Are you interested in learning more about the art of woodworking? Then we have not one, but two opportunities to do so! Learn to make an adorable birdhouse with Rodney Bramer or carve your own personalized walking stick in a new class led by Carlisle Willard.

Other class options - Classes are filling up quickly! However, the following classes still have limited space available. Baskets from Nature led by Pat Brown Use found objects to explore the traditional art of basket weaving with an avant garde, modern feel! Fun with Photography led by Joye Ardyn Durham Experience photography in fresh and creative ways as we learn to experiment with basic camera techniques. Jumpstart Writing led by Ina Hughs Using various writing prompts, participants will craft stories and memoirs that are unique to their experience.

Housing and rates - Comprehensive rates, which include room, meals in the Galax Dining Room, and the conference fee, are available for those who wish to stay in Winsborough Lodge or Assembly Inn (availability is limited). Additionally, a commuter rate is available for those who live locally or wish to stay in private housing.
