On the final days of the Trump presidency, let’s review a few things we’ve learned during this administration.

#1: A bust of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln seen in a viral photo was not “looted” from the White House. 

Artwork and artifacts are often loaned to the executive mansion from various museums and galleries and returned at the end of a president’s term.

An account was removed from the platform for impersonating the president.

#3: Conservative news website American Thinker admitted that it spread false claims about U.S. voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. 

And it wasn’t the first to do so.

#4: A years-old op-ed circulating online titled “Trump Does the Unthinkable” — supposedly recounting various good deeds Trump performed before his presidency — contains a mixture of truth and fiction.

It’s worth nothing that the author Liz Crokin has also spread QAnon conspiracy theories.

#5: No credible sources have said Trump was preparing to invoke martial law before Inauguration Day.

If they had, history shows they would not turn to a pastor living in rural Texas to spread the important announcement.
