Did A ‘Stanford/NIH’ Study Conclude Masks Don’t Work?

A paper dubbed the "Stanford/NIH Study" purportedly summarized scientific evidence on the subject of wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. "NIH" referred to the U.S. National Institutes of Health. The crux of the paper claimed that masks were ineffective in stopping transmission of the virus.
