This is a hands-on seminar with Jamie Halpern and Steve LaRance covers the basics of making silver jewelry and lapidary with stones and shell fused with an intro to the history of Southwest jewelry and its role in the culture and economy of the Southwest. Spend three weeks at beautiful Ghost Ranch in its well-equipped silversmithing studio with master teachers and guest artists. Participants will have the chance to interact with other sIlver artists from the area, tour museum collections, and engage with native artists in the historic Santa Fe Plaza where artisans have been selling for generations.
