Young Adult Opportunities - Ways for 18-32-year-olds to get involved at Montreat.
College Conference @ Montreat: January 2-5, 2025: During this conference, college-aged young adults will spend three days nurturing their faith and connecting with others as they engage in worship, recreation, and critical conversations. Through our 2025 theme, “Unimaginable Possibilities: God’s Hope in a Weary World,” conference participants will explore the ways in which God sees us, has a plan for us, and offers healing, even when we least expect it.

The Manna Retreat - January 24-26, 2025: We know that being a young adult is hard. That’s why we created The Manna Retreat, a weekend getaway for 22-32-year-olds. During this event, individuals, friends, and young adult groups from local churches are invited to spend three days creating deeper faith and deeper relationships together. Volunteer at Montreat - Summer 2025 and 2026: Montreat offers three key ways for young adults to stay involved with youth conference: Planning Teams Help us plan future conferences! Planning Teams are made up of youth and adults who work with Montreat leadership to shape the theme and activities for each conference. We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 Montreat Youth Conference and Middle School Conference Planning Teams! Small Group Leaders These volunteers provide critical guidance for youth by leading a small group of approximately 15-20 people as they discuss topics relevant to the conference theme. Small Group Leaders work hard, but they also get special perks like free housing and meals! Applicants must be 21 or older. MYC Alums Young adults between the ages of 18-22 can participate in youth conference as MYC Alums (formerly known as Work Crew). These individuals attend the conference with a Back Home Group, and assist the Planning Team behind the scenes.
