Funding the Mission of Presbyterian Publishing Corporation For nearly 200 years, the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation has told stories that shaped the landscape of biblical studies, taught the ways of discipleship, and showed us better ways to be human together. As we look to the future, we are preparing our organization to support the stories and storytellers of the future while continuing to create the vital resources the church needs today.
We invite you to join us in this mission! Your contribution—large or small—makes a difference in sustaining this vital ministry, allowing us to continue publishing resources that nurture faith and strengthen the church. You can make a one-time donation of any size or set up a recurring gift to provide ongoing support. |

PPC Plans Conference and Book Series with Campaign Gift Generous gifts for our fundraising campaign from donors are already making a tangible impact, supporting initiatives that foster new voices and scholarship in the church and academy. The Presbyterian Publishing Corporation plans to hold a publishing conference for young scholars of color and publish a monograph book series as part of a $100,000 gift from First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth, Texas.
“The Session of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth was pleased to make a gift of $100,000 to the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation’s A New Story campaign in gratitude for the important and impactful ministry of PPC in the life of the church and the academy,” said Rev. Michael Waschevski of First Presbyterian Church. |

Honorary Campaign Chair John Buchanan Passes Away at 87 The fundraising steering committee of the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation’s A New Story campaign lost a champion this winter when Rev. John Buchanan passed away. John was an honorary chair of the campaign and was very active in that role.
“John Buchanan loved books and reading and writing,” said Cynthia Campbell, co-chair of the fundraising committee and president emeritus of McCormick Theological Seminary. “For all those reasons, he loved working with WJK and the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation.” |

PPC Awarded Lilly Endowment Inc. Grant for Children and Worship We’re excited to share that we recently received a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc.'s Nurturing Children Through Worship and Prayer Initiative that will help us continue our mission of creating impactful resources. With this grant, PPC is establishing a program called “Worship for the Whole People of God,” which will allow us to create a variety of new resources to help congregations as they engage children in intergenerational corporate worship and prayer practices. While separate from our current fundraising campaign, this grant underscores our commitment to seeking diverse funding opportunities to sustain and expand our work. |
