WCC Media advisory: “Via Dolorosa: The Path of Sorrows"

The World Council of Churches and the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva invite media to attend a special screening of the documentary: "Via Dolorosa: The Path of Sorrows", followed by a panel featuring church leaders and experts.

The World Council of Churches and the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva invite media to attend a special screening of the documentary: "Via Dolorosa: The Path of Sorrows", followed by a panel featuring church leaders and experts.

Taking place at the Palais de Nations, Geneva, on 18 February, the event is open for media to attend by registration, as well as via livestream at www.oikoumene.org/live

Directed by Amira Hanania, "Via Dolorosa: The Path of Sorrows" sheds light on the Christian presence in Palestine, narrating its story through the eyes of Palestinian Christians. The film captures pivotal moments that have shaped their history, identity, and resilience.

The screening is followed by a panel discussion featuring church leaders and experts to delve deeper into the themes presented in the documentary.
