Is Victoria’s Secret Planting Tracking Devices in Bras?

The summer of misinformation continues, this time fueled by TikTok and Facebook videos showing people pulling what appear to be “tracking chips” out of Victoria’s Secret bras and lingerie. Some have even gone as far as to claim that these chips track customers to specifically target them for sex trafficking.
But is that really what’s going on here? Or is there a more logical (and less terrifying) explanation for these chips?
