Shellenberger’s Viral Climate Take Challenged by Scientists He Cites

In June, an article by nuclear energy advocate Michael Shellenberger titled “On Behalf Of Environmentalists, I Apologize For The Climate Scare” was briefly flagged on Facebook as misinformation after being removed by Forbes, where it was originally published.  The article listed 12 facts that “few people know,” but also that, in the article’s own words, “sound like climate change denialism.”
Naturally, the deletion of this article gave way to no shortage of controversy, with Shellenberger himself claiming to have been censored.
In a new Snopes piece, Alex Kasprak and several of the scientists cited by Shellenberger address each of the 12 points he presented.
