Did Trump Tell People To Vote Twice?

When President Trump suggested during a speech in North Carolina that voters should head to the polls after submitting their mail-in ballots, widespread confusion followed. After all, voting twice is a felony. In fact, the North Carolina State Board of Elections has since issued statements warning voters of the legal and public health consequences of doing so.

What did Trump mean, then? Did he really ask voters to submit more than one vote? What reasons are there to go to the polls after you’ve mailed your ballot, if any? Snopes reporter Bethania Palma has more.
