Registration Now Open! W. Don McClure Lectures and World Mission Initiative's Month of Mission Online Series

Jesus Christ and the 'Dividing Wall': Race and God’s Mission

Have you registered yet for this amazing opportunity of free learning and conversation on race and mission? As our country continues to struggle with racial injustice, many church leaders are looking for tools and resources on how to move their churches forward in a positive direction. Thus far we already have 85 local congregations registered for this lecture series, and around 25 presbyteries (Presbyterian Church USA districts) from Seattle and LA to Birmingham and Charleston have signed on to promote/sponsor the series.
Hope you can join us for this virtual McClure Lectures / WMI Month of Mission Series, where we will gather online for four Wednesday evenings to explore issues of racial justice. We encourage you to organize congregation "watch parties" and gather members for guided discussions each Wednesday evening in October following the plenary presentations. The format will be the same each week:
- 7:30-8:10 p.m. (ET) Plenary Presentation
- 8:10-8:30 p.m. (ET) Nationwide Question & Answer Session
- 8:30-9:00 p.m. (ET) Your congregation holds its own conversation on plenary presentation, using WMI's leader guide with discussion questions.
In addition to the four national presentations and leader guide, there will be six pre-recorded workshops, which can be accessed and used in the future by participating churches and individuals to go deeper in the intersection of racial justice and God's mission.
The event is free to everyone, however, you must register to attend by clicking the link below. You can register once for the entire series.
In the meantime, please enjoy this short video by keynoter Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil on reconciliation.
